A teenager convicted for the killing of the son of Reggae artiste Luciano is to be sentenced on April 21.

Nineteen-year-old Nashlyn Anderson, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the Home Circuit Court in downtown Kingston on March 3.

His conviction comes just over a year after 19-year-old Menelick McClymout was stabbed to death at Parkington Plaza, in St Andrew.

The other two teens accused of the killing, Camanie Shaw and Jerome Coombs, have pleaded not guilty and are scheduled to go on trial May 4.

According to prosecutors, Anderson used a knife to stab McClymout during an altercation last February.

After learning of his son's death, Luciano, whose name is Jepther McClymout, posted an emotional plea on social media urging the public to help the police find the persons responsible.
