Insurance advisers contribute to Percy Junor Hospital

Immediate Past President of the Jamaica Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Limited (JAIFA), Joel Dixon (second left), and Percy Junor Hospital Chief Executive Officer, Carlton Nichols (second right), symbolically commission a new compact blood bank refrigerator into service, during a presentation ceremony at the facility located in Spalding, Manchester last week. Looking on (from left) are the hospital’s Senior Medical Officer, Dr. Carlos Wilson, and JAIFA President, Hugh Meredith. JAIFA presented a cheque in the sum of $500,000 to the facility towards the cost of a compact blood bank refrigerator valued at just over $1 million. The remaining sum was provided by the Southern Regional Health Authority.
