Brothers in custody after cocaine seizure

Two brothers are now in police custody after cops seized eight rectangular parcels of cocaine on the St Jago main road in Clarendon, yesterday.

The Milk River Police say about 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon, a team of officers was on operation in the area when a Toyota Axio motorcar was stopped.

They say a search of the vehicle and its occupants revealed the parcels of cocaine.

The value of the illicit drug has not yet been ascertained.

The two men who are 35-year-old and 50-year-old brothers were taken into custody.

The police say their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
