The St George's College Old Boys Association will be staging the 19th renewal of its alumni golf tournament on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Constant Spring Golf Club, St Andrew starting at 7 a.m. Tee times are available throughout the day until 1:30 p.m.

The tournament is a biennial challenge event wherein St George's College old boys challenge alumni teams from other schools to see who has the best golfers. Past winners include Campion College (the defending champions), Calabar, Glenmuir, Munro College, Clarendon College, Manchester High, Jamaica College, as well as St George's. Golfers not only win individual prizes but the school of the overall winners receive scholarships, which are awarded to deserving present-day students on behalf of the winning team of past students.

Dr William 'Tommy' Lee and Gordon Munn representing their alma mater Campion College, combined to score 74 points to win last year's tournament.

The entry fee for golfers will be $4,500 per person, with a special fee to Constant Spring members of $2,000.

The tournament, which is endorsed by the Jamaica Golf Association, is open to all amateur golfers with a Club handicap in a separate category - the Open Section, which welcomes those golfers not representing alma maters to compete for individual prizes.
