The University of the West Indies’ (UWI) Mona Campus has announced that despite the rain all examinations will be held as scheduled today.

In a release, the UWI said students who are unable to report for examinations as a result of the weather should advise the Examinations Section in writing as soon as possible.

The UWI also urged members of staff who are able to do so, to report to work as usual.

“In light of the fact that the island is being impacted by very heavy rains the university encourages members of the community to take all precautions to ensure their own safety and that of their families before attempting to come to the campus,” said the management.
