The Police are advising the public to continue to exercise caution when traversing flood-prone areas.

They say areas in Chapelton, Clarendon, are still experiencing road blockages as a result of landslides and that the Oak Bridge is still partially blocked by a landslide.

Over in St Catherine, the Bog Walk Gorge is still impassable, the main road from Lluidas Vale leading to Ewarton is blocked and there is no access to Guys Hill as roadways are impassable.

In St Thomas, the Richmond Vale main road is impassable.

The police say while floodwaters have receded the public should continue to remain cautious as a flash flood warning remains in effect for Central and Eastern parishes.
