Man accused of killing bartender remanded
The man accused of killing a female bartender in St Thomas in January was further remanded when he appeared in court on Friday.
Twenty-nine-year-old Kirlew Ellis is charged with the murder of Kerron Peckoo.
Ellis is to return to court on June 6.
It is alleged that on the night of January 24 Peckoo, who is from Hampton Court in Golden Grove, St Thomas, was walking home from work when she was attacked by a man.
The attacker allegedly slashed her throat and left her along the roadway.
Peckoo was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Ellis was subsequently arrested and later charged.
The two reportedly share a four-year-old child.
