The Ministry of Labour is to embark on a recruitment drive for its Overseas Employment Programme.

The Ministry says the recruitment will be held between June 26 and July 17.

Candidates must be between 21 and 45 years old, possess a Tax Registration Number (TRN) and a National Insurance Scheme (NIS) number, a valid passport and they must be literate.

Applicants must not have been previously deported, refused a Canadian or United States visa in the last year and must have a clean police record.

Application forms are available through several avenues, including Members of Parliament, mayors and councillors, the Labour Ministry’s parish offices, civic organisations, trade unions and agricultural schools.

The labour ministry says the last recruitment for the overseas employment programme was done in 2015.
