Mayor of Kingston, Delroy William.

Mayor of Kingston, Delroy Williams has invited the public to furnish the Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) with areas within the municipality that are facing commercial garbage issues.

According to Williams, this will form a part of the #KleanKingston campaign he is planning to launch.

Williams said the campaign will include the placement of several bins across the city as well as a sanitation team that will be tasked with reducing garbage pile-up along streets and public spaces.

The mayor has also encouraged members of the private sector to play their part in the cleanliness of the city by ensuring they dispose of their waste in the proper manner.

He added that the KSAMC welcomes the support of the private sector in placing adequate bins across the city for disposal of garbage.

The mayor also stated that persons can submit the locations of areas identified to the KSAMC via email at ksamcissues@gmail.com.
