Would-be robber shot near Half-Way Tree Road

The police have cordoned off a section of Half-Way Tree Road in the vicinity of the Flow Jamaica headquarters in St Andrew following a shooting incident this afternoon.

It is reported that a would-be robber attacked a man on Carlton Crescent when he was shot by another.

The injured would-be robber was rushed to hospital.

His condition is not known.

The police could not say who fired the shot but eye witnesses say the incident involved a licensed firearm holder.
