Jamaican law enforcement personnel seized just over 1,700 pounds of ganja, with an estimated street value of $68 million, during a 10-hour operation in St Mary.
The operation, which was conducted by detectives from the Police Narcotics Division and members of the Jamaica Defence Force, began on Wednesday evening and ended just before dawn yesterday.

Investigators say there are indications the ganja was destined for Haiti as part of the guns-for-drug trade.
