The People's National Party (PNP) pulled out all the stops at the Caribbean Palm Community Centre in St Andrew South West Wednesday evening to present a united constituency following a bruising internal election a month ago.

But Audrey Smith Facey, the councillor for the Payne Land division who lost to Norman Gardens Division councillor Angela Brown Burke was a no-show at the constituency conference.

All other PNP councillors from the constituency were present.

Former MP Portia Simpson Miller is also in attendance.

With Smith Facey absent and no representative identified, no report on her division was presented.

Quizzed about Smith Facey's absence, councillor for the Greenwich Town division, Karl Blake shrugged his shoulders suggesting he did not know.

Later this evening, it is expected that Simpson Miller will address the conference.
