Montague: I leave the island today to attend an international conference. On my return, I will return the decision to the Cabinet to finalize the discussions and execute the instruments of appointment.

The National Security Ministry has issued a statement describing as premature a release it dispatched last night announcing the appointment of new board of the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA).

This is the third release the ministry is issuing concerning the FLA board appointment in the past 14 hours.

Last night, the ministry named the five-member board including former chairman Dennis Wright.
