Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton and Executive Director of PAHO, Dr Carissa Etienne, signed a five-year cooperation agreement on Tuesday at the PAHO Headquarters in Washington DC.

The agreement will see Jamaica benefiting from technical cooperation in health for the next five years.

Etienne said under the agreement, PAHO will assist Jamaica to boost its health system to adequately cater to citizens under a universal health system.
