$19m spent on improvement of Youth Information Centres – Education Ministry
The Education Ministry has pumped more than $19 million into the renovation and rebranding of Youth Information Centres across the island.
The ministry says the move is in keeping with a new thrust to broaden outreach and expand services.
It says five youth centres are benefiting from the programme.
The education ministry says work has already finished on two centres while three others are 95 per cent complete.
The ministry says in an effort to address youth development issues, the Government is ensuring that the infrastructural and the social environment is created to support the positive development our youth.
