Twenty-year-old farmer Demar Denton of Nineteen Miles, near Sandy Bay in Clarendon, was shot and killed last night.

His mother and brother were also robbed of their valuables in the same incident.

Information is that the family was home watching television about 7:45 when two armed men entered the house.

The invaders robbed all three of their Samsung Galaxy smartphones, as well as a flat screen television.

The culprits then opened fire at Denton, hitting him multiple times all over his body.

He died on the spot.

They then made their escape in the area on foot.

The other two occupants were not hurt.
