Sagicor Foundation Chairman R. Danny Williams (second right) shares in a photo op with scholarship recipients (from left) Melissa Williams, Joseph McLeod, and Ashley Morgan. The three high-school students received educational grants of $100,000, $200,000 and $150,000 respectively, during Sagicor’s Motivational Seminar, held at the Hyatt Ziva & Zilara Resort, Montego Bay, from October 5-8, 2017. Williams and Morgan, both 17 years old, attend Immaculate Conception High School, St Andrew, and are both in sixth form. McLeod attends Petersfield High School in Westmoreland, and is currently in fifth form. The three students were selected from a pool of nominees based on need and academic performance. Funds for the scholarships were made possible through contributions from Sagicor team members.
