Investigations by the police in Old Harbour, St Catherine have resulted in three men, including one who is now detained at the Horizon Remand Centre, being charged in connection with a double murder in Old Harbour Bay last month.

Those charged are Percival Campbell, Junior Campbell of Old Harbour Bay and Corey Black who is being held on another charge.

Investigators allege that Black stayed in custody and conspired with the other two accused to kill Oneil Butler and Dwayne Mitchell who were of Clarendon addresses.

It is alleged that on September 28, 2017 Mitchell and Butler went to Old Harbour Bay to buy illegal guns when they were attacked and fatally shot.

An investigation was launched which resulted in the three men been arrested. They were subsequently charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

They are slated to appear in court next week.
