The two men who were killed when gunmen shot up a Toyota Mark X motor car in Flanker, St James last night have been identified.

They are 20-year-old Shawn Titus, otherwise called Blacks and 24-year-old Daniel Anglin, alisa Don.

Reports are that a Mark X motor car with four men aboard stopped at a stop light in the vicinity of Flanker about 11 o'clock when it came under gunfire from men in another Toyota Motor car which pulled up alongside it.

It's reported that when investigators arrived they found two of the four men in an unconscious state while the others appeared to have sustained gunshot injuries.

They were taken to hospital where Titus and Anglin were pronounced dead and the other two men hospitalised in serious condition.

This brings to nine the number of persons shot and killed in St James over the weekend.
