Jamaica to be affected by Cold Front Thursday

Published:Wednesday | October 25, 2017 | 10:01 AM

The Meteorological Service of Jamaica says an early season cold front is to bring increased showers to the island tomorrow.

It says the Cold Front is currently west of Cuba and is expected to move into the Caribbean and be west of Jamaica tomorrow.

Weather conditions are expected to become less stable as the Cold Front drifts closer to Jamaica.

The Met office says periods of light to moderate, and at times heavy showers, are expected mainly across northern parishes, starting in the afternoon and continuing into Friday.

The Meteorological Service says it will continue to monitor the situation.
