Don't wait for the last minute – TAJ makes appeal ahead of ticket amnesty end
With the three-month Traffic Ticket Amnesty coming to an end in less than a week, Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is urging motorists to avoid the last-minute rush to pay outstanding tickets without penalty.
TAJ is reminding motorists that this Saturday will be the last before the amnesty ends on October 31.
It says its offices in Santa Cruz, Kingston, Port Maria, Constant Spring, Montego Bay, Spanish Town, May Pen, Mandeville, Savanna-la-Mar and St Ann’s Bay will be opened to facilitate payments.
These are in addition to Portmore, which usually opens on a Saturday between 10 o'clock in the morning and 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
