The Opposition People’s National Party (PNP) wrapped up its campaign in the constituency of St Mary South East last night with a mass meeting in Annotto Bay.

Hundreds of supporters turned out to hear from the party’s candidate in Monday’s by-election, Dr Shane Alexis and other PNP officials.

Alexis re-iterated plans to build St Mary South East into the best constituency in the island and appealed to supporters to ensure they go out to cast their votes.

He also urged them to be bold and examine their communities to determine some of the things they can do to fix them.

Alexis is challenging Dr Norman Dunn of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) for the seat, which became vacant following the passing of Dr Winston Green in August.

The JLP will hold their final mass rally also in Annotto Bay this evening.
