Brian Williams, said he voted for Mark Golding to become St Andrew South MP

More than one hour into the St Andrew South by-election and no more than 10 voters have cast ballots at two polling stations in the Admiral Town division along Slipe Road.

At the Torrington United Church at 35A Slipe Road housing polling divisions 75,76,79 and 80, a mere four people, all donning neutral colours, opted for early voting.

Further up at the St Luke's Church, the station housing a single voter was out early.

He declared his support for the People's National Party (PNP's) Mark Golding.

"Mark is a good man and a good person who will be taking care of the issues in the constituency such as crime and unemployment," Brian Williams told The Gleaner.

Golding is seeking to replace Dr Omar Davies, the long-time MP who retired as Member of Parliament after just over 20 years.
