Four suspected Clansman Gang members for Gun Court on Tuesday

Four men suspected to be aligned to the notorious Clans Man Gang in Spanish Town, St Catherine are to appear in the Corporate Area Gun Court next Tuesday after they were charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

The police say the men were arrested Monday afternoon after a team comprising members from the Mobile Reserve and the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Divisions stopped and searched a Honda Odyssey minivan on Orange Street in downtown, Kingston about 2:30.

Two Glock pistols and 36 9-millimeter rounds of ammunition were reportedly found.

Those arrested and charged are 34-year-old higgler Dwayne Frater, of Fairview Avenue, Spanish Town, St Catherine; 27-year-old labourer Rolondo Hall, of Pheonix Park, Portmore St Catherine; 21-year-old mason Lamar Rowe, of Lime Tree Grove, Spanish Town, St Catherine and 23-year-old farmer Sunmon McFarlane, of Capture Land, Spanish Town, St Catherine.
