Several St Thomas roads which were blocked this morning for the third straight day by protesting residents have been cleared to allow single lane traffic.

Among the roads is the Seaforth to Morant Bay main road which was blocked at several sections in York.

Other roadblocks were mounted along the White Horses to Morant Bay main road in Dumphries and along the Heartease to Yallahs roadway.

The roads have been cleared to facilitate single-lane traffic as the authorities await assistance from the National Works Agency to have them fully cleared.

Meanwhile, Member of Parliament for Eastern St Thomas, Dr Fenton Ferguson, is touring the constituency following the protests.
