The young professional arm of the People’s National Party (PNP is again calling for the dismissal of National Security Minister Robert Montague.

The call by the Patriots comes days after it was revealed in Parliament that the company contracted to purchase 200 used cars for the police has delivered only 30 cars despite receiving half of the $429 million contract.

In a statement today, president of the Patriots Omar Newell says this is the latest in a string of events which demonstrates that Montague lacks the judgement required to preside over a portfolio as sensitive as national security.

Newell says the failure of Montague’s signature policy is an indication that he is bereft of the transformative, visionary leadership required to bring Jamaicans together to take back our country from criminals.
