The Government will tomorrow sign a US$19 million contract with Chinese company China Harbour Engineering Company for the widening and improvement of Constant Spring Road in St Andrew.

The National Works Agency (NWA) says the four kilometre section of the roadway, between Dunrobin Avenue and Long Lane, will be improved under the contract.

The NWA says the programme of works includes primarily the widening of the road from two to four lanes, improved traffic management and upgrade of the storm water drainage system.

The project is expected to be completed within 18 months.
