Club owner arrested for sex with a minor

A nightclub owner in Montego Bay, St James, has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a minor.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey, who heads the Counter Terrorism and Organized Crime (CTOC) says the club owner was among three people arrested during operations over the last few days.

In another operation, over 2,000 packages of fake hair were confiscated by members of CTOC on November 29.

ACP Bailey told a press conference yesterday that illegal DVDs were also part of the haul.

He says five persons including three Chinese nationals were arrested in Montego Bay in relation to the find.

They were charged with unlawful use of trademark in relation to the hair and breech of trademarks for the DVDs.
