Procurement Director at Security Ministry says he's not being replaced
The Director of Procurement in the Ministry of National Security Milton Morrison has dismissed suggestions that he is being replaced.
This after an advertisement appeared in The Sunday Gleaner requesting candidates for the post of Director of Procurement in the Ministry of National Security.
However, speaking on Independent Talk yesterday, Morrison said the job posting is part of efforts to build capacity in the procurement department of the ministry.
Since the posting of the ad, there have been concerns that the civil servant is being replaced in light of the controversy surrounding the contract to supply used vehicles for the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
