The two persons killed during yesterday's shooting at a funeral at the Kings Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church in east Kingston have been identified.

Dead are 20-year-old Ashley Hopbson of Charles Street, Kingston 14 and 34-year-old Delroy Salesman of Matthews Lane, Kingston 14.

The two were among nine persons shot by gunmen who opened fire on a group of mourners attending the funeral of Romain Anthony White, who was stabbed to death about a month ago along Beckford Street in downtown Kingston.

The shooting happened about 2:45 yesterday afternoon as the funeral progressed.

The police are now questioning a man who was held by mourners during the shooting spree.
