JGRA joins call for PM to intervene in police wage impasse

The Jamaica Gasolene Retailers Association (JGRA) says Prime Minister Holness must intervene in the wage impasse involving cops given the severity of the situation.

The association says the entire petroleum retailing sector always requests additional support from the JCF during the yuletide season and has taken note of the low visibility of police on the road during the season.

It says the government urgently needs to prioritise the needs of the JCF so that they can better protect the nation from the hideous crime monster for the country’s sake.
