Woman swept away by flood waters in Trelawny found dead

A woman who was swept away by flood waters in Trelawny, yesterday, has now been confirmed dead.

Tragedy struck while the woman was attempting to cross a flooded road in Barnstaple.

Her body was found several hours later in the community.

Head of the Trelawny Police, Superintendent Dwight Powell, disclosed that the woman was believed to be of unsound mind.
