CAC appeals to Christmas shoppers to seek redress
The Consumer Affairs Commission is appealing to members of the public to contact the agency if they need redress arising from Christmas shopping.
The Commission's Chief Executive Officer, Dolsie Allen, told JIS News that the agency has seen an increase in consumers seeking redress after the festive season.
Allen says consumers must have a receipt when they make a report for redress.
She notes that without a receipt, there is no proof that the item was purchased from a particular establishment or individual.
