JUTC driver stabbed while disarming gunman on bus

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) says one its drivers was stabbed  while disarming a gunman on one of its buses in Greater Portmore, St Catherine, last evening.

In a tweet, the JUTC said the driver was stabbed in his chest and has been hospitalised.

The state-owned bus company says both the gunman and firearm were handed over to the police.
