Three of the four deceased in McCooks Pen accident identified

A motor vehicle collision on the McCooks Pen main road in St. Catherine claimed the lives of four persons and injured eight others on Friday, January 5.

Three of the injured have been, identified. They are 27-year-old Tameka Tomlinson of St John's Road in Spanish Town, St Catherine; 37-year-old Avia Simpson of Longville Park, Clarendon, and Sanny Harvey, the Constabulary Communication Network reported.

Reports from the Spanish Town police are that at about 8:45 p.m. a Toyota Probox motor car and a Toyota Succeed motor car collided. Among the injured are a lance corporal from the Jamaica Defence Force and a constable from the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

Investigations continue.
