Montego Bay-based legal assistant, Verna Baker, is not new to winning. For the second time, she has emerged the winner of the JN 'Off You Go' promotion.

"I was excited," she said, when JN Bank representatives made a surprise visit to her work place at Gore Developments Limited in Montego Bay, recently.

Baker, who won a Mediterranean cruise, the first prize in the developers' category of the promotion, was also the 2016 winner when she won a trip to Paris. She revealed that she was determined to win the top prize and worked extremely hard last year to accomplish that feat.

"The 'JN Off You Go' promotion is a wonderful initiative. It assisted me to make most of my targets and provided me with a nest egg, which I used to purchase something that I needed and could not afford, at that time. Through the promotion, I went to places I could only dream about visiting, such as Paris, France and, now I am planning to go on a Mediterranean cruise," she said.

The 'Off You Go' promotion, now in its fourth year, targets affiliates in the real estate industry, developers and realtors, who vie for attractive prizes and cash incentives for successful mortgage referrals to JN Bank.

Petal James, head of mortgage sales at JN Bank, said the initiative continues to be a demonstration of JN's commitment to working with professionals in the real estate and housing industries, to make home and property ownership a reality for more Jamaicans.

James said the promotion has also strengthened the working relationship between JN Bank and developers, which benefits customers and the wider real estate sector.

"We welcome the growing possibilities for the mortgage and real estate industries, as it is evident that the demand for housing and mortgages has increased. And, while we remain optimistic, based on market trends, we continue to place emphasis on working with our valued realtors and developers to benefit the sector," James said.
