Police cordon off the scene where gunmen opened fire on a vehicle in Montego Bay.

A man is dead and two others injured after the vehicle they were in was sprayed with bullets along Sunset Boulevard in Montego Bay, St James.

The dead man has been identified as Desmond Clarke, also called Tooco and Dangles.

It’s understood that the three men and a child were at a car rental when a grey Toyota Yaris stopped at the location and four men emerged armed with AK47 rifles.

They reportedly sprayed bullets on the Nissan Tiida occupied by the four people, hitting three of them.

The child escaped unhurt.

The police believe the incident is linked to a long-standing gang feud within the community of Flanker.
