20-year-old charged for double-killing in Catherine Hall
The St James Police have charged a 20-year-old for a double-killing in Catherine Hall, Montego Bay on January 13.
Kasheen Lewis, otherwise called ‘Borderline’, of Upper King Street, Canterbury, St James was charged with two counts of murder yesterday.
Reports are that three persons were at a business location operated by one of the victims in Catherine Hall about 5:30 in the afternoon, on the day in question, when a lone man, armed with a handgun, walked up and opened gunfire hitting all three.
They were taken to hospital where 41-year-old Cleopatra Fletcher and 52-year-old Dawnette Shettleworth, airport employee of Westgreen, both in St James, were pronounced dead.
The other person was admitted for treatment.
Lewis was taken into custody after he was identified as the shooter.
