Clarendon College student stabbed to death at home

A trauma team from the Ministry of Education visited Clarendon College today to counsel teachers and students affected by the murder of sixth form student Avinash Gordon.

Eighteen-year-old Gordon was found stabbed to death in the bedroom of her house about 2:15 this morning.

The police report that she was home with relatives when screaming was heard coming from her room.

When her relatives went to investigate she was found suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Education Minister, Ruel Reid, says he’s saddened by the tragic incident.
