PM confident many lives saved since St James operation, commends police for gun find

​​Prime Minister Andrew is commending members of the security forces following the seizure of another gun in St James, where a state of emergency has been declared.

Holness was on a tour of the parish today.

Making reference to the gun, Holness said there is no telling how many lives have been saved so far by the efforts of the security forces.

But he said he knows it is many.

He’s urging Jamaicans to support the security forces by calling the tip hotline at 837-8888 to give information on wanted men and guns.

Holness also met with stakeholders and the business community in Montego Bay to discuss concerns around the State of Public Emergency.
