Lampkin Hill Bridge in St Mary badly damaged by rains

The Police are reporting that there is no access to Gayle from the Lampkin Hill Bridge in St Mary as it has been badly damaged due to the constant rains and is now impassable.

The police say the communities of Decoy, Mile Gully, Dresike, Hunts Town and Amiel Town are inaccessible to vehicular traffic via that route.

Motorists are being advised to use alternate routes such as Jacks River and Free Hill.

Also, persons travelling to Port Maria from Gayle will have to use the Retreat or Labrynth main road.
