Corporate Hands | Optimist International donates to Walker's Place of Safety

The Optimist International Caribbean District has donated $100,000 and clothing to the wards of the state who were displaced by fire at the Walker's Place of Safety.

In making the presentation on Monday to Rosalee Gage-Grey, CEO of the Child Development Agency, at the agency's Duke Street offices, District Governor of the Optimist International Caribbean District Calvin A. Hunter expressed "sadness, sorrow, pain, distress and regret" at the recent tragedy which took place at the home and robbed the 'family' of two of its members.
