St Thomas man charged in connection with murder of elderly Jamaican-Canadian couple
The St Thomas Police have charged a man in connection with the murders of Jamaica-Canadian couple Melbourne and Etta Flake.
Twenty-five-year-old Fabian Skervin, a farmer of Seaforth in the parish, is charged with two counts of murder and one count of robbery with aggravation.
Skervin was picked up along with a woman during a police operation in the Seaforth Housing Scheme about 6 o'clock last Wednesday evening.
The woman was later released.
He was questioned and subsequently charged yesterday afternoon.
Eight-one-year-old Melbourne and 70-year-old Etta were found dead in their house with their hands and feet bound on the morning Tuesday, January 9.
