The police are to question a man who has turned in himself in relation to the murder of a 14-year-old girl in Granville, St James, on Saturday.

The police say Owen Allen, otherwise called ‘Zoo Bug’, of Brown’s Lane, Granville, was taken into Police custody on Saturday.

The police had appealed for Allen to turn himself in following the murder of 14-year-old Tianna Clarke.

It’s reported that about 8:30 Saturday morning, Tianna’s body was found in an unfinished building in her community.

Hours later, Allen reported to the Freeport Police.

The police say he is to be questioned in the presence of his attorney.

The murder is the second reported killing in St James since the State of Emergency was declared on January 18.
