Amber Connect continues global expansion with Russia launch
Kingston-based Amber Connect has announced the introduction of its cutting-edge vehicle-tracking and telematics technology in one of the world's largest vehicle markets.
Amber Connect officially launched its Russian operations at an event held in Novosibirsk, Russia, in mid-January. Amber Connect was able to demonstrate to Russia's vehicle industry leaders the clear benefits and innovative functionalities that Amber Connect's technology has to offer to parastatals, insurance companies, automotive dealer-ships, transportation companies and many other commercial verticals.
Dushyant Savadia, CEO and founder of Amber Connect, was elated with the success of the Russian launch and the interest shown by industry leaders in the Amber Connect product suite.
"Russia is one of the largest vehicle markets in the world and Amber Connect is delighted to bring our globally acclaimed products to this massive market opportunity. Given Russia's vast geographical area and climatic conditions, our product had to operate in the harshest weather conditions with temperatures as low as -47?C, and we are proud to report that our system, after stringent testing, passed with flying colours."
Joseph M. Matalon, chairman of Amber Connect, added: "I am very pleased with the exceptional growth trajectory that Amber Connect has achieved in the
last year. I am also very excited about the upcoming product innovations and global expansion planned by the team in 2018. The strong response of the Russian market during our launch activities is indicative of the strong desire of consumers, insurers and fleet owners to engage with the cutting-edge telematics technology that Amber Connect offers."
