Hanover triple murder accused charged
The police have charged 61-year-old labourer Paul Coote, of Industry Cove, Green Island, Hanover, with the murders of his ex-girlfriend Adanique Cunningham and their two daughters.
Coote was charged yesterday, with no date yet set for him to appear in court.
Thirty-eight-year-old Cunningham, of Dixon Wharf in the parish, and her two children, 7-year-old Jayanna Coote and Shanique Coote, 4, of Industry Cove, Green Island, also in the parish, were chopped to death on Wednesday, April 25.
The police reported that about 7 o' clock Cunningham, who was eight months pregnant, went to get her children ready for school at their father’s house when both parents allegedly got into an argument.
Coote allegedly used a machete to chop Cunningham and their two children several times.
They were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Coote was subsequently taken into custody.
