Several roads flooded, police urge caution
The police are urging motorists and pedestrians to be extremely careful due to flooding caused by rains associated with a trough lingering across the western Caribbean.
Here are the areas which should be avoided:
BOG WALK GORGE
- Water levels in the Bog Walk Gorge are steadily rising. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes.
- Section of Sir Florizel Glasspole Boulevard, near Carib Cement Company, heading to the airport, is now flooded. Traffic is being re-routed onto the westbound corridor. Airport-bound persons should note delays are being experienced at the location. Proceed with extreme caution.

- The intersection of Mountain View Road and Windward Road in Kingston 2 is flooded. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes.
- The Ramble Hill and Montpelier main roads at the border of St James are flooded. Motorists are urged to proceed with caution or use alternate routes.
