A man described by the police as one of the most feared gangsters in western Jamaica and his mother were killed gangland-style at their home in Elgin Town in Hanover last night.

He is Uton ‘Bigga’ Cocket, who was said to be the leader of the much-feared One Voice gang, which has been implicated in several murders in the parish.

His mother is Carlene Graver.

It is reported that they were at home when about 9:30 p.m a gunman invaded the premises and opened fire, hitting them.

They died on the spot.

Cocket is the brother of Valdemier ‘Wingy’ Chambers, who is believed to be the first leader of the gang.

He was killed last September.
