These little ones provide some assistance to Kim Mair, CEO of the JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation, as she tries her hand at saying ‘good morning’ in sign language. Occasion was the arts segment of the Jamaica Association of the Deaf and Hope United Church summer programme, which catered to over 100 students from both the hearing and deaf communities. The week-long programme, which ended on July 27, sought to promote social, spiritual and cultural development. The JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation was a major corporate supporter of the initiative as part of its community outreach efforts.
