CMS reschedules cases affected by evacuation of Trelawny Parish Court
The Court Management Services in the Ministry of Justice says arrangements have been made for cases affected by today's closure of the Trelawny Parish Court in Duncans.
The building was evacuated about 10 o' clock this morning by the police and the fire department to investigate a security issue.
The security issue also forced the closure of buildings and roads in the vicinity of the courthouse.
The agency says all cases have been rescheduled and persons who were to appear in court today have been contacted and issued new return dates.
It says members of the public may contact the Court office tomorrow at 876-954 2191 for more information concerning their matters.
The agency says the courthouse will be reopened as soon as clearance is given by the authorities.
